This afternoon, Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital will open the doors to their new 190,000 square foot rehabilitation building. This new 87-bed expansion will allow an additional 3,000 patients to receive acute care and sub-acute care services each year. Not only do the hospital’s new features include state-of-the-art medical technologies, but the Mary Free Bed expansion planners emphasized the inclusion of artistic pieces and comfortable treatment spaces in order to promote both physical and emotional restoration among patients.
Grand Rapids’ Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital is a not-for-profit medical center that provides acute-care rehabilitation services to children and adults.
