Michigan Cerebral Palsy Attorneys Awards & Memberships 1

With over 50 years combined experience, the dedicated and caring lawyers at Michigan Cerebral Palsy Attorneys have successfully helped hundreds of Michigan families affected by cerebral palsy and other birth injuries. Our firm is unique in that we focus almost exclusively on cerebral palsy and birth injury cases. This means an unparalleled level of cerebral palsy legal help and service to our clients.

Jesse Reiter is our firm’s founder. Mr. Reiter is among the most respected and highly recognized attorneys in birth injury law. In addition to local and national awards, Mr. Reiter is frequently asked to share his expertise through published works, leadership of various legal and birth trauma organizations (including his role as the past Chair of the Birth Trauma Litigation Group), and through presentations at medical malpractice conferences nationwide. Most importantly, Mr. Reiter has accumulated a truly impressive record of verdicts and settlements for his clients.

Rebecca Walsh is also highly regarded within the Michigan birth injury law community. As a partner in the firm, she has earned a reputation for being very tough in the courtroom while still maintaining close and caring relationships with her clients. Every case is important to her and she fights tirelessly for the highest verdicts and settlements for her clients. Rebecca has earned numerous awards including the prestigious “Women in the Law” from Michigan Lawyers Weekly.

Euel Kinsey is a veteran litigator and one of the most well-respected attorneys in the field of medical malpractice. He has earned numerous awards, including being selected for the New York Times‘ “Top Attorneys in Michigan.” He has worked diligently to secure his clients’ future; his work resulted in the securement of a $21 million settlement in the state of Wisconsin for medical malpractice.

Jennifer Secorski: As a long-time employee, Jenni worked diligently as a paralegal for our firm while attending law school. Upon graduation and successfully passing the bar, she took her well-deserved place as a birth injury attorney on our staff. Her long-standing knowledge and experience in matters related to birth injury law are evident in the confidence she exhibits in fighting for the rights of her clients. She has been involved in many multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements.

Emily Thomas: Emily has focused her legal career on helping clients with disabilities and special needs. The legal system can seem particularly complex to this group of individuals, and her goal is to help clients understand their rights and their case, while obtaining the best possible results for them. Emily actively participates in several national and Michigan Bar Associations, was featured as a 2015 Michigan Association for Justice Pacesetter, has recently been honored as a “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers magazine and has been included in Michigan Lawyers Weekly‘s “Up and Coming Lawyers 2015.”

Elizabeth Spiridon: Elizabeth has worked at Reiter & Walsh P.C. as a legal assistant while finishing her law degree at Cooley Law School. Upon graduation and passing the bar, she decided to continue work at our firm as an associate birth injury attorney. As a previous bilingual para-educator, she worked hard to ensure successful communication between parents and their children’s school. She looks to continue this work by using her Spanish skills to facilitate communicate between our clients and their lawyers. Read Elizabeth Spiridon’s full bio here.
